Install Your New Presets with Ease!

The latest version of Adobe Lightroom Classic allows for easier-than-ever preset installation! Start by ensuring your software is up-to-date via Help > Updates.

Note: Our AI presets rely on the most up to date technology from Adobe.

You may be presented with XMP presets and/or LRT presets. When provided with XMP, always choose XMP for easier import!

XMP Import

Mac or Windows

Download the zipped folder that begins “LightroomXMP-” or “LightroomXMP_AI-“

These files should import without needing to be unzipped.

Open Lightroom Classic and ensure you are on the Develop tab.

Click on File -> Import Profiles and Presets

Browse to the location you saved your Presets, select the zipped folder and click on Import.

Your presets are now ready to use!

LRT Import

Mac or Windows

These steps work for Lightroom Classic 7.3 to current when using LRT files.

Download the zipped folder that begins “Lightroom-” or “LightroomLRT-“.

Unzip the folder and extract the files. Depending on your operating system you may be able to just click into the folder.

On Windows double click into the folder, select all, copy and paste into a new folder outside the zipped folder.

On Mac simply double click into the zipped folder and Mac should extract the files into a new folder for you. If you downloaded via Safari
the zipped file may be unzipped already.

For organizational purchases it’s best if you can save these unzipped files in a folder together named by collection. For instance, I would
title my folder “LLP-HappyHour” and place all of my Happy Hour Collection presets in that

Save a backup of your presets somewhere safe.

Open Lightroom Classic and ensure you are on the Develop tab.

On the left hand side, locate the preset panel.

Click the plus (+) sign to the right and select Create Preset.

You can leave the Preset Name as untitled.

Click in the Group line and select “New Group”. Select a name for your Preset group.

We recommend titling your preset group by collection name, for instance “LLP-HappyHour”.

You should now have a Preset Folder titled LLP-Happy Hour with a “dummy” preset inside.

Right click that folder name and select Import.

Navigate to your downloaded and unzipped preset files, select all and import.

You may now safely delete the untitled dummy preset.

Removing this placeholder preset before importing your new presets will result in the preset group disappearing.

Your presets are now ready to use!
